Week 1/52: The sandglass starts for another time’s beginning from within

ROUND TWO!!!

I enjoyed my 52-week project for 2009 so much that I decided to do another one for this year

My first portrait for this year was shot in my Aunt’s house here in California.  I just love her deep red walls.  If you’re from the Philippines, you’re probably familiar with the big box in the photo, hehe.

Tomorrow’s our last day here, so we’ve been packing since yesterday.  We’ve already shipped one “balikbayan”; box ahead so we’ll have less stuff to take with us on the plane.  We have three more balikbayan boxes here that we’re checking in.  This one was still empty this morning (it’s full now) so I decided to use it in my SP this week.

Thanks to my sister for the shot.  She’ll be starting her own 52-week project this year too, yay!

Title is from Steve Conte’s song “Living Inside the Shell”.  I really should stop stealing lines from that song, but I just love it so much <3
