(EZRA) 47/52 : Let it snow!

You guessed it.  Another Frozen-inspired post.  We just can’t get over that movie.  We listen to the soundtrack every day and watch the clip of Elsa building her ice castle on youTube all the time.  I can’t wait till it’s released on bluray.  I’ll probably watch the entire movie everyday for a week!

Anyway, this shot is a little similar to my old self portrait back in 2011.  Except that one gives off a more depressing feeling while this one’s supposed to be happier.  And in the old shot I used Photoshop brushes to make the clouds while in this one I used the pillow stuffing that Nochi and Jei gave me back in June 😀

We’ll be spending Christmas here in the Philippines, so obviously we’re not going to be seeing snow this year.  But that’s alright, we saw plenty of snow back in May 🙂  I just wish the weather would get a bit cooler here because lately it’s been really hot.  I know that we live in the tropics, but Christmas just doesn’t seem complete without that chilly feeling.  We still have a few more days before the 25th, so let’s keep our fingers crossed!

(EZRA) 50/52 : Winter Wonderland

Earlier this week our family went on a 3-day tour to Vegas and the Grand Canyon (blog entry to follow).  We saw snow again after almost two years 😀  I took this quick shot of Ezra when we were at Grand Canyon National Park.  I wish we could have had more time to play, but we only had one hour before we had to go back to our tour bus.  But we still had a lot of fun frolicking in the snow while admiring the view during that short time 😀

(Trees and birds were added in Photoshop using brushes from redheadstock.deviantart.com)

(EZRA) 52/52 : Will it snow for Christmas?

CONGRATULATIONS TO MY SISTER FOR COMPLETING HERE FIRST ROUND OF 52-WEEKS 😀

Took this picture yesterday, the last day of 2010.  I had to cut up the snowflakes for her because it turns out she doesn’t know how to make paper snowflakes.

Her description:

I know that Christmas was last week, but I really wanted a Christmas/winter SP.  Here the Philippines people celebrate Christmas until February. I think our country has the longest Christmas celebration.

Last Christmas vacation I saw snow for the first time since we visited America for the holidays.  I loved it! It obviously won’t snow for Christmas here in the Philippines that’s why I had to settle for paper snowflakes. My sister cut the snowflakes out for me because she said that the ones that I made were hideous, hehe.

Thanks a lot to my sister for taking my picture, editing it and cutting the paper snowflakes!
